WTF do you mean? have you ever heard a fart muffler? his sounds nothing like a fart muffler. One of the worest muffler's i have EVER heard in my life was a flow-master on a AE86. it was the shittiest sound ever. more ricy than anything. and i am not joking. i had to live with it for a few weeks.

well, there is this new Lancer that lives down my road that sounds like total shit... its the most sterotypical fart muffler i have ever heard in my life. but that gay flowmaster on my friends ae86 was almost as bad.

I dont really dislike any bodys taste for muffler sound, but to put down flowmaster is down right wrong,i like how his car sounds, sounds like my friends 85' 300z. But if done right the flowmasters sound very deep and agresive, this mufflers are design to flow masive amounts of exaust coming fron V8's,so if you dont have that kind of flow in your ride thats why it sounds like farting cause theres not enough flow going thru it,plus the choice of cam makes the muffler sound diferent, when i got mine it sounded a bit like a fart muffler but nothing compare to the 3aracing full rice muffler it had when i got it,afther installing the flow i got rid of the cat,got new headers, new radical cam,new ported head with oversize valves ,supra AFM,ram air,and now it sounds very very good,i mean people ask me if i have a V8 in this thing and i just smile and say,"no just my good old 22re B) ". 40 series two chamber FLOWMASTER.

I personally am sick and tired of hearing EVERY other truck on the road with flowmasters. to me the Flowmaster is the fart muffler of trucks. Sure its a good company and has great performance i'm just fed up with seeing Flowmaster stickers on every truck on the road along with those stuck up "bad ass wannabie" truck dudes thinking they are cool because they have their little flowmaster muffler like everyone else.

I must be honest with you though, I did request flowmasters for my celica a few years ago... but the muffler shop told me Spintech is better, more aggressive and costs exactly the same. not to mention Spintech's one of a kind design. so i took their advice and now i'm happy considering nothing sounds like my muffler.

But on my next car i plan on useing the Remus muffler. i'd like to see how that is. i heard they make good mufflers for turbo charged cars... and it just so happens my next project will have a turbo.

well its the only muffler (other then the piece of crap that was on there) that Ive had.....so I dont have much else to go on.....but.....I have no complaints at all......like the guy before me did a catback job and just put a shit muffler on......so all I have to do was put this puppy on.....I like it.....I woulda gone for the dual look if I had to do it again.....but overall the sound is good.....sounds soooo good driving.....makes it loud inside the car.......but outside the car from what Im told since Ive never actually heard it in person from the outside, Ive been told by ricers in hondas etc it sounds sweet and "unique" so I take that as a compliment!!! for the first couple months that I had it, it did pop a lot going from like 1st to 2nd mainly...but....barely noticeable......doesnt do that anymore.....but overall.....go for it!!!
