Drawings recieved, Thanks a ton Leon!

So for those intrested on saving a little money, i plan on having these parts waterjet cut by a local shop and the machining the one piece needed on the adapter.

Whos intrested in getting some done at the same time?

The waterjet guy has an minimum fee and anything over that would save money for everyone.

The machining time is minimal and i could pass that along at a pretty good rate, since i can do it at home.

Heck i believe i even have the steel material already!

If i need to start a poll thread on participants i can do that.

I hope Leon doesnt mind me reproducing them in quantitys for you guys.

I could even have them plated if you wanted, i know of a local plating company as well...

Give me some feedback gents, and ill go from there.

Yes, Wilwood informed me that the stock master cylinder and proportioning valve can be re-used. No changes required. Make all you want. I don't mind a bit. I hope to post the brake cooling system today as well. Then on to the air scoop and venting system for the turbo.

Cool thanks for the blessing Leon.

I have a quote out starting with 10 pieces, enough for 5 cars to the waterjet guy and ill do the finishing machining, and tapping needed.

Pieces will also be Black Zinc Plated for looks and durability.

Get in line and ill update once some prices start coming my way.

Like i dont have enough going on lol...

I use ... 275/35-15 for race all around.

Mind if I ask what wheels you're using? I assume you're running the 275 Hoosier. I'm planning to get Spinwerks 82s, but have to figure out the offset before I can order. I have the specs my AE86 friends are running and I think they would probably work, but curious if you've done this already for a Celica.

The wheels are diamond racing steel wheels in 15x9.5" with zero offset. I had to add 3/16" spacer plates to miss the coil over threads. The wheel liners are removed and the flares have been radiused carefully to remove the outer flat lip section at the top and blend back in by the 3 and 9 o-clock positions. These wheels do NOT have good cooling openings and I plan to get the XXR 002 in red 15x9 as soon as they become available. May I am told. $111 ea at performanceplustire.com

Oh yes, I run Hoosier R6 and A6 depending on application.

Super info. Thanks. I'm planning 15x10 for the 275 A6s. I'm building an ST, so I'll have to cut a good bit from the fenders to get them on. You know what the Diamonds weight?

I want to get this wheel/tire thing right the first time if I can. All told, about a $2,000 investment, as you know. Hate to do it twice.

Thanks,

Ed

The diamond racing wheels should be about 16-18 lbs depending on size

The race wheels and tires look like this. Not a purdy as the alloy street wheels. Or the soon to be XXR's.

That's very cool. The big Hoohoos fit on a Celica really well. They stick out a mile on an AE86. Looks like I'll have to trim fenders, for sure, but it will look mean.
