Of course I'd have to measure, but I do think the track width did change (wider) by about 1/2". The car all of a sudden feels more jittery on the road, especially in the wagon tracks.

Not an exact comparison, but I split the image between two hubs and flipped them side by side, 3rd gen on the left and cressy on the right. Looks like hubs are definitely different, and the cressy hubs are a bit wider. Weird that the face of the rotors lines up perfectly.

If you are referring to the AE86's struts with cressida brakes, I don't think you can. Still pretty sure that the mounting points on the struts are different and would require an adapter. But there are a lot of BBK options for the AE86 so it's not too bad really. There are adapter plates to use RX7 4pot calipers with same size AE86 disks.
