yea, that's what I was saying too, it's just one more trick upon many things you can do to a car. The point was that when all the small things are added up collectively then it makes a noticeable change.

I still say that "I doubt the change would be noticeable" in our cars.

All depends on what you consider "noticeable". Take an autocross run. Then do it again with a passenger. 150 lbs. gets real noticeable. Three, four, five pounds at a time? Do that enough times and it adds up to a lot. Just like power mirrors, hatch backs, tilt wheels, A/C etc, etc, etc. I'm guessing my car is 400 lbs. lighter than the average on this board. And I'm just getting started.

And yes, I mean when the engine is in it. lol. Stop. I kill me. Oh, my side.

I want to keep my AC (at this point), but will change out the five stationary windows in the back for lexan. I may remove a liner or two, pull factory carpet padding for light sound deadener, aluminum spare wheel, aluminum jack... And I'm dieting too.
