I personally think it looks alot like a normal 4Th gen supra with a 2000GT front end like the supra is supposed to have.

The Supra's direct roots go back to the 2000GT and i think toyota should try to keep that image. Thats why i am happy with their new design.

Latley toyota and every other manufacturer has decided to forget about their past cars and started to make them look like whatever they want. take the new celica for example, it looks nothing like ANY older celica... They should have just named it something else and started a new car out of it IMO.

i cant wait to test drive one of those.. im an apprentice mechanic working at a Toyota Dealership by the way.  i'll let you all know how a V8 in a Toyota Supra feels like.  probably alot like a SC 430 Lexus V8 4.3L 300hp.  i'd trade my left nut for that car, seeing as i will never be able to afford one in my lifetime with a C$100,000 price tag.

I seriously doubt it will be a V8. If they are going retro, they will stay with the 6 cylinder.

2000GT were limited production, so that is where their value is. I think they are one of those cars where if you have to ask, then you cant afford it. Personally I think the 240Z is a better looking car

I have production numbers of the 2000GT and they only produced 337.

A while back while i was in a japanese book store in Seattle i was reading through a japanese classic car magazine and i found a couple 2000GT's for sale in it. a buddy of mine knew how to convert yen to cash and they would cost somewhere around 120,000-150,000 US Dollars. Not to mention shipping and registration.

so unless you have about 250,000 i would even think about looking for one.

Although Toysport has a picture of a 2000GT sitting in front of their shop...
