Forum upgrade complete
« on: Apr 16, 2012, 01:34:10 am »
The forum has been upgraded to the latest SMF software. Everything should be up and running as well or better than before.

Please let me know if you find any problems.

Yeah, too much white. Also, I kinda miss the most recent posts at the bottom without having to click on "most recent forum posts".

I've got a weird option under "look and layout", "Show quick-moderation as" and then a dropdown. I'm assuming this is supposed to only be for mods, and as far as I know I haven't been promoted.

Go into your profile and see if it changed. I like how I can switch between mobile and full version. There is a link at the bottom of every page while on the mobile view that says "Go to full version"

Tried messaging A2 and it says I cannot due to their mailbox being full. The personal messages index is also saying my mailbox is full.

The reason GregAtlas can't send me a PM is because my mail box says it's 325% full. And the clock does appear to be like 5 hours fast - unless I've moved.

There isn't a New Posts or Recently button. Because I only visit here once a week or less and scan the new stuff, the loss of this one-click solution is now replaced by *click every single sub-forum to see stuff*.

Yeah... I'm not bitter. :P

Yeah, too much white.
ya to much white.
Yeah, I hear you. For the record there is almost no white in this theme, it's all gray.  :heh:

I'm hoping to create a custom theme of my own for this site, but that takes time.

These are the themes that are free and downloadable for this forum:

http://custom.simplemachines.org/themes/index.php?action=search;version=68

I'm always open to suggestions.

Also, I kinda miss the most recent posts at the bottom without having to click on "most recent forum posts".
I've added it back in.

Tried messaging A2 and it says I cannot due to their mailbox being full. The personal messages index is also saying my mailbox is full.

Fixed. Everyone should have unlimited PM storage now.

And the clock does appear to be like 5 hours fast - unless I've moved.
Super-secret note: I actually moved the site to a new server too. The server timezone is different now so you will have to go into your profile and change your "Time Offset". (Just click auto-detect)

Not sure what you're talking about. There is a "View the most recent posts on the forum." link on the board index (under "Forum Stats"). Are you talking about another feature?

Must be a quirk of the theme. You're not in a moderators group. Let me know if you can actually moderate any boards.
