Does it really exist? How fast was it if it existed? Where can you find one if it exists?

Yes, as fast as a Supra (which is what it is) Japan. Quick answers to your questions. the latter versions were faster since they had the 6MGE engines

Check around. The car should be easier to import than alot of other cars that are here. You would have to get a letter from Toyota stating that it will meet USA regulations, then find an importer that knows how to deal with the necessary paper work. Look at the US Customs website. The info is somewhere in there

What do you mean by affordable, my "affordable" might be different than yours.  rhd doesn't make you any faster...If you only want the XX cause it is rhd, than you are better off just converting your celica to rhd.

I think I got screwed on my panda paint job...

If they can make a civic CHD then you can make your celica RHD. I am also very interested in a RHD celica too. In japan they had TONS of versions of our 3rd gen celicas. I wouldnt mind a JDM GT-TR  :P .

And about the Celica XX. You missed out about 2 years ago. I found a JDM RHD imported Celica XX for sale on eBay. It was located in Florida and it was in very good shape and only sold for $2000-$2500. It also had those cool fender mirrors and everything. I saved the pics of it on my computer and if you want i can post them sometime on here.

Also, the Celica XX had a number of motor options. Turbo options too.

if your strong hand is your left hand, then is it not more practical to have your left hand on the steering wheel?  hense the steering wheel on the left-hand side.  I can see why right handed people may want right-side steering...  other than it looks cool..

Yeah, thats what i'm thinking, you don't want your hand to ever leave the wheel, if you are left handed than that's a plus.
