I've decided that I'll utilize this thread for any future posts.

Today I finished mounting the bottle for my nitrous install.
This process went very smoothly. First I had to figure where I wanted to mount the bottle, then I needed to figure out how to mount it there. I decided I wanted the bottle to be in a very protected part of the car that would also allow for easy access from the rear hatch in order to make bottle changes quick and easy. One of the old drain lines from the deleted sun roof made for a very convenient over pressure vent tube.

For anyone looking into nitrous on a 2jzge while utilizing a window switch, pin 27 labeled ne is what you want to tap into for your rpm signal. Pin 43 labeled vta1 is you tps signal. Here' the world's best wiring diagram.

All it needs now is a new purge line that should be arriving tomorrow. This is definitely a sight you don't see everyday, nitrous on a 2jzge, what an idea..

Finally! Something different done to a 2jz... that motor should take quite a bit before it packs it in.

Thanks Swan! I'm only running a 50 shot though. I really like the power it makes stock, its not very fast but its a ton of fun. Gobs of tq and smooth linear power! I added the nitrous simply for fun, and there have been a couple tracks where i have wanted just a touch more power, Texas motor speedway and Mineral wells have entries of around 100 mph so the nitrous is really for tracks like that. The car is really starting to shape up and I cant wait to tackle the next project, new seats and some fun with lexan!

I'll try to do a decent write up, I'm just bad at taking pictures as I work. And my posts don't flow well due to not using an image hosting site such as photo bucket. I'm going to be using lexan on my rear hatch as I restore it, basically cutting out all the rust, welding in new metal and getting rid of the glass entirely as it weighs a ton. Hopefully it goes well and ends up weighing a bit less in the process. With that said, does anyone need hatch glass?

Yeah I know all about imgur, I just don't want it to be 5 years from now when all my links are broken or I need to update some terms and conditions on whatever site is hosting my photos and some kid who really needs a visual on whatever gets screwed over like I have been time and time again lol.

Installed an actual racing seat, corbeau forza sport, cheap and FIA certified. Made a set of non adjustable simple brackets and it works like a charm. The first pic was final test fitting, that's not how the belt is actually routed.
