17x9 +2 offset with a 275/40 is as large as you can go without serious chopping in the front.  Anything that sticks farther in will hit the strut and anything farther out will hit the fender.

17x9 +2 with 275/40 also fits on the back, you can go a little farther in on the rear but not any farther out.

Hey could you guys help me out with some wheel fitment questions.

I like these wheels = http://bassettwheel.com/legends_mini.html

I want the black ones at the bottom. The 4-BOLT D-HOLE LIGHTWEIGHT WHEELS.

if you read the chart on the site they only come in 15x8's and that is what i want. i was wondering if you guys could tell me which offset i should get so they dont stick out really far past the wheel whell if that is even possible with the 8inch wide rim.

I'd probably go with centerline, 4" backspacing. They'll probably stick out a little bit, but they'll look good on a race car. OTOH, if you're thinking about these for the street, I'm not sure if they're street legal or not, at the very least you'd want to make sure you get the safety bead on them (an extra $10 each)

Have you read this thread? Take a learning curve and start at page one. You should then be able to figure it out for yourself.

At the risk of sounding like a real noob... Which I am... Quick question:

Is there much of a fuss with all of this offset & fitment when changing from stock 14" XT wheels to 15x6.5? I noticed one dude mentioned he doesn't like talking to tyre places about this because they don't know our poor RA65's, or if I take it to say Jax Tyres to fit properly (Australian largest tyre & wheel place probably) will that be alright?

This is in relation to some MR2 SW20R nice wheels I found, and also in regards to when i finally find a set of Supra wheels.

little confused there...you mention SW20 and the RA's in the same question...they do not have the same bolt patterns...not real sure what you are asking but IIRC, the SW is 114.3x5 where as the RA's are 114.3X4...

on the tire size difference between a 14" and 15" wheel...there is no fuss unless you change the overall height of the wheel with tire mounted... using a calculator like http://www.wheelsmaster.com/rt_specs.jsp will tell you what you can get away with on the wheel diameter difference without throwing the speedo off...

Can everyone with a non-stock Wheel & Tire combo please post a pic simular to this^,
-Make sure to include tire and rim size/width info-

I want to see what different sizes & offsets look on our cars.

-EDIT
I just saw this thread, which is basically what I was looking for.

Hi all! I would like to change the wheels on my Celica GT-S 2004 for a set of Stern's ST-10 GRANS wheels. I would like to know if a wheel with these specs could fit my car :

Size : 18x8.50
PCD : 5x100
Offset : 35
Part # : ST1085851035C

Thanks a lot for your help!
