not sure...maybe someone with some experience with the 7th gen celicas could chime in here... collectively this forum is well versed in 3rd gen celicas (82-85) that are RWD and 114.3x4 bolt low offset wheels where as yours are going to be completely different...can always look to the new celica forums to get some help with your question...

You will need a decent size of spacers to run those since they are +35 offset........

at least .75" or 1.377952761 inches of spacer to be exact....  :heh: :heh: :heh:

darin had 17*9s on his GTS-SS... had to do some sort of hacking in the back to get them IIRC...or it might have been because he was lowered as well... since you are in a GT/ST format in the wheel wells are, i call BS on them fitting....well maybe if you don't use tires they will fit with minimal rubbing... and you are going to love the price for tires there... 275's aint cheap yo...  :heh: :heh: :heh: :heh:

I keep seeing those xxr wheels on ebay.  I really like http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/15-8-XXR-002-Black-Rims-86-Toyota-Celica-Mark-II-5M-GE_W0QQitemZ360251305590QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item53e0a6ae76 but I'm wondering how they hold up with the dual bolt pattern.  The tires on my stock rims are all dry rotted and I'm pricing out tire options with keeping the stock 14's or going with some nice looking 15's.

I've got 2 sets of aluminum rims for my civic, one 13" that I ran not last winter but the winter before, and another 14" that have my summer tires on them. Both have dual bolt patterns, and they've held up fine.

I really couldn't care less about how things are titled. Really liking these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/15-7-XXR-513-Black-Wheels-Rims-Toyota-Corolla-AE86-GTS_W0QQitemZ360109003667QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item53d82b5393  it seems everything is covered in the listing... size, offset, pattern...  Just this is a mystery brand to me.

Man, I really wanted to get a set of Watanabes, but they're expensive, so I was thinking of getting some Konig Rewinds, but they only come 7in wide, and now I see these XXR 513's, cheaper AND wider.

But at that point I'm buying a knock off of a knock off.. crap!

Oh well, not like I have the money for wheels yet anyway, haha

I'm thinking of those xxr 513's in a 16x8 or 16x7 with a 225 50 series tire.  The 8" wide are a 0 offset while the 7" wide are a +15 offset.  Either should be good to go with that size rubber on an 85 gts right?
