Low volume engines are getting their castings 3D printed to ensure accuracy. The LFA engine casted using 3D printed molds. Also some smaller parts are being 3D printed in various materials including titanium, like on the newer Koenigseggs turbos.

When they make the plastic LS intake manifolds are those cast or 3-D printed? I'm just curious same with like some Audi manifolds. Although I feel the Audi stuff is cast plastic cus that shit typically gets so brittle you can easily stick your finger in it...

pretty sure they're plastic mold injected since they're higher volume. And I noticed a lot are multi part and then fused together afterwards.

Nice, all that fancy aerospace stuff. That inconel 718 alloy seems pretty awesome, but I guess all the aerospace engines are made out of some amazing stuff.

That's awesome! This guy must be an engineer student or something.

And... also see that I didn't post a link.

Form 1 has released their 3D printer that is SLA and is pretty compact and the cheapest/most accurate one I've seen on the market yet
