For Sale! 1985 Celica GTS Hatchback

Hello All, new to this site but not to Toyota's;  I picked this 85 up late last fall for a goof. I owned several 1st gen Celica's back in the day and always thought these GTSs were cool...Anyways, I'm looking to sell this since I have other projects to complete.  Its a 85 GTS hatchback, 22re, 5 spd. with 70,289 original miles!  The body is very solid, interior is in excellent condition, original paint is very good, not perfect but no body damage or rust.  Yes, pretty amazing for a Michigan car but it was well cared for and a garage queen.  Since my ownership I've replaced all fluids, did a complete tune-up, valve cover gaskets(very clean inside cylinder head) and replaced the struts/shocks.  Starts right up, runs, drives great.

Car is completely STOCK.  I thought I'd offer this up on this site first before listing on Ebay, etc.  Open to offers, not sure what these cars are going for. Cash deal, no trades...

Thank you! I honestly don't know what these cars sell for in this condition. I haven't found a similar car for sale, at least in the Midwest.  All I have found is convertible and/or automatic GTS's...

Any idea?  Is 5-6K expecting to much?   I seen one sell( in mint condition, low miles) for around 13K a few years ago..go figure!

I'm not selling a show car here but it is completely stock and in very nice condition.

looks really good. In CA they are usually pretty beat up and the convertibles are the main ones that draw the cash. But in MI, I dunno. Probably a fair price.

Id say your in the ball park price wise. Ultimately the selling price will depend on your area. Things are worth exactly what someone else is willing/able to pay for them.

  Car is still for sale.  Just listed on CL locally this week for 4500.00 or BO.  Car is in original condition! Not showroom but really nice for 30 year old.  Would prefer it to sell to a Celica enthusiast.
