Yeah, there's a lot of traffic, but that's a big part of Multi-Class endurance racing. We're in GP1, the fastest class, but one of the biggest challenges is being consistent while dealing with the slower GP2, GP3, and GP4 cars. Honestly, that's what makes a race interesting for the whole 16 hours, a good driver excels by knowing how and when to get by the slower cars without getting slowed down (and for a slower car, you excel by knowing how to let the fast cars by without losing your own momentum).
