Not Celica related, but I guess it would be good for a sc400. I bought all the stuff I need for my 1uz swap for 600$. Shipped. That includes modding my 5sfe flywheel. Granted, I have a w58 already. I got my engine for 500$. Sold the auto tranny for 100$. So into the motor 400$. I'm super close to finishing this project under 1500$

Well that is great to hear it can be potentially done for under 2k. I know you said you were planning on documenting the swap, but do keep us posted please. Those V8's  sound amazing at full song, beautiful.

Oh don't worry. The diy is going to be video. I feel that's the reason a lot of swaps don't get documented. It's a lot of work to upload pics and then type crap out. It's easy to have someone hold a camera. I can edit footage down too.
