Hot diggity Ozzie, Thanks! That’s not bad at all for customer axles. They would be even stronger than OEM, retain the factory bolt pattern, and you can get them both in the length you want.

Good find dude!

And you wouldnt need to find an extra short side axle, and you can shorten to any length you want.

While we’re at it, here’s the performance rebuild for the trac lock lsd: https://www.cjponyparts.com/ford-racing-traction-lok-rebuild-kit-with-carbon-fiber-clutch-packs-8-8in-1986-2014/p/M4700C/?year=1997&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI_bvQiPPK2wIVUb7ACh0u5g0fEAQYAiABEgJTvvD_BwE
It’s about as cheap as it comes for a carbon fiber clutch pack.

The ford part number is M-4700-c, it is literally the same clutch pack as the ones used in the Shelby GT500 and Cobra R.

Here’s the process: http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/rebuild_tractionlock.shtml

I know this is an old (and awesome) thread, but I do have a related question. SwanSong, do you know or did you measure the stock pinion offset on your Celica? I'm not talking about pinon angle, but horizontal offset side to side. Most cars have some sort of offset built in to match how the engine/trans is mounted. If I ever get a custom housing this is a figure I'd need. Here's a guide to the whole topic:

https://www.dragzine.com/tech-stories/pinion-offset-guide-and-how-to-with-chassis-engineering/

If no one's measured yet on an SRA Celica, I will do it and post!
