Does anyone know if I can use the celica fuel pump or do I have to upgrade to a aftermarket fuel pump

Celica fuel pump works fine. You will need to run it straight, DO NOT connect the secondary fuel pump driver from the ecu. The Lexus has a two speed pump. The Celica is a one speed pump. If you connect FP from the ecu to your fuel it'll die under throttle.

Also the fuel filter won't work, so swap to a "universal one" or one from a dodge caravan.

You REALLY, REALLY, REALLY need to read the 1uz swap thread in the write up section. All of your questions are answered there. Well, 99% anyway.

instead of crimping the two power steering lines together would the excessive manufacturing power steering line kit work? and  motor mounts use stock ls400 motor mounts or buy new ones ?

supposedly
Contact Rich Kubhila at excessive. He at one time told me it would, because Toyota steering racks use the same size fitting for the power steering line. I believe the difference in the excessive line is the length. I'm looking into this too, as I live in BFE, and a hydraulic shop probably doesn't exist in my area.

I'm looking into this too, as I live in BFE, and a hydraulic shop probably doesn't exist in my area.

pair Borgeson -AN to 16mmx1.5 inverted flare adapter
Aeroquip AQP high pressure power steering hose
Aeroquip AQP hose ends

Less than $100 can get you a custom power steering hose, just have to spend a few minutes to put it together yourself.  It's pretty easy, there are a bunch of tutorials online.
AN-6 is fine for the high pressure power steering line.  RA6x steering rack high pressure hose is 16mmx1.5, so are most of the Toyota power steering pumps that I've seen. Make sure you use STEEL hose ends specifically for Aeroquip AQP.  A bit of teflon tape on the inverted flare fittings is cheap insurance.  Funny thing - the power steering pump on my 3S originally had a banjo fitting, but it has an inverted flare seat in the banjo bolt hole and the inverted flare adapter fitting sealed just fine

Swan, if you need any custom hydraulics, check out Oil Filter Services in PDX - great place, they can even make custom steel braided brake lines

Your supposed to call Rich directly. He will know exactly what you need for this chassis for the right motor mounts. I only grabbed the adapters. I'll be using the factory 22re mounts. For now. If the burly v8 rips those, I'll upgrade. I'm trying to do the whole swap for under 2k.

Getting anywhere on this? My swap starts November 28th officially. I'll document it, pics and GoPro in hand, paying particular attention to the wiring aspect of documentation.
