SF Bay area CL ad 2016-09-12: '1984 toyota celica"parting out" (santa clara)'

For those local to the Bay Area, this ad is for a part out of what looks like a 1982-1983 manual GT liftback, red on the outside, brown on the inside:

No other details and I haven't contacted the seller.

1984-1985 had an updated front.  I'll find my corner light replacement someday!

Just had a talk with the seller, car is located on 2725 Lafayette St in Santa Clara, in a storage yard, it's been sitting for 3-4 months and couldn't be sold so he's parting it out.

I want to get that W58 trans, so... Please nobody take it until I come home in about 2 weeks time!

Another ad with scarce info on the car (as in transmission).  Sounds like front collision + cooked engine but otherwise all there for the asking.

Can confirm it has a W58. Car has little over 200k. Should I try grabbing this one or should I steer clear of a 200k+ transmission? Can anyone chime in?
