Is been riced out, but looks to be a good starting point. As long as it's not rusty

yea, but it's just a kaminari kit, hood scoop and rear wing. If it drives ok it would be a great base.  As long as it's not a rust bucket you like said.

Unfortunately I'm >700 miles away here in MN.  I wonder if we have any Ohio members on here?

I'm looking at what looks like a big ugly patch on the lower rear of the fender, and what looks like some kind of repair on both arches, and wondering why they chose to show off that side of the car...

And because my google-fu is at it's peak today, here's the dealer's listing: http://showen4cars.com/1985-Toyota-Supra/Used-Hatchback/Wilmington-OH/8629798/Details.aspx

I wondered that also - what does the other side look like?  Low miles but it might be beat to heck and maybe has rust issues.  Ad says they will be posting more photos so I'm keeping an eye on it to see if they do so we can see the rest of the car.  There is probably a good reason that it is priced at only $1200.

I would check it in person, photos can't tell you everything. Also I think they posted that side because every car they listed is shot from the same angle for the initial photo.

To me totally worth checking out. In CA the cheapest running Celica Supra goes for around $1500 and they are usually automatics and probably the L-Type without flares and the skinny wheels.

Check the dealer's site I linked to, they've now got more pics. What I thought was a flare repair isn't. I'd say the car (or at least the flares) was originally maroon, had the Kaminari side skirts added, and then was sprayed silver. Aside from that it looks pretty clean outside, and the interior looks good aside from the lack of a stereo.

Definitely worth looking at if anyone is closer to Ohio than we are!

I'm kinda thinking about it. If it's still around come Memorial Day weekend, I'll have to think more about it, and possibly road trip it back here. 3 day weekend because 1 day to drive down, 1 day to replace the head gasket in a parking lot, and then a day to get back

This morning it appears to have been sold no longer listed.
