No, they haven't, they are just all on the facebook groups, which is what basically killed this forum.

Yep. And not very many people on FB like to search for answers. That's my opinion. I always link info to here when I can.

*fixed*

Yep. And not very many people on FB like to search for answers. That's my opinion a fact

I stopped using that group, it's full of a bunch of people who want to be spoon fed everything, and get their panties in a bunch as soon as you have any kind of negative opinion of their shit box lol.

FB I find to be too consuming and cluttered. Forums can lose information in the pile of posts FB I just find even worse.

I don't understand how you find prior info about a subject. There isn't a search feature. No stickies. No build threads. Forums are great because they compile a group of answers in one spot where it's easily searchable. I imagine the faceballs page has question after question of all the same crap and I bet 99% of it is answered here! I also don't understand why A2o hangs out there more than here! Maybe he feels he needs to educate the stupid high school kids. If you read his posts, he is, more often than not, baby sitting these kids.

Well, I thought it was just a plugin for most web forum software variants and a smartphone app that made it easier to use web forums on smartphones. A lot of the forums about modifying Android use it, hop on androidforums or xda-developers some time.

But apparently it's also a way for Tapatalk to replace the forum owner's ads with their own, possibly a link for the Chinese government to steal forum data and/or nuke the forum, and may have vulnerabilities of it's own: https://theadminzone.com/threads/tapatalk-fact-or-fiction.116478/

I never use any forum add on app. I'm used to normal computer usage.

I think the forum is fine the way it is, zooming in on the phone screen, I can do anything on there that I can do on the PC. I personally don't like Tapatalk, just more needless crap.

Because it's not meant to be used that way, people use it as a means for instant gratification, because taking 3 seconds to google is some exemplary witchcraft that's too damn complicated for them to figure out. I don't know how Bob does it; I've tried to help, but it's very frustrating when you can't comprehend how ignorant and stupid some people are when you try to point them in the right direction.

I don't load apps to visit forums, that's just dumb. That's what a freaking web browser is for!

I figured everyone was on faceballs, but I couldn't be bothered. Come to think of it, the only reason I signed up for twitter was to complain to my cell provider.  :heh:
