New owner once again
« on: Jan 31, 2017, 04:42:56 pm »
HI everyone,

I am the proud "new" owner of this beautifully restored 85 GT-S!!!  Previous owner, also a member here, is a long time buddy who found this gem on a farm and brought the dream back to life over the past 4 years.  He had to let it go to make room in the garage for another project.  He was sad to see it go, but I promised to keep her up and running... and comfy in my garage!

I drove an 84 GT-S in college and beyond from 1988 to about 2002... when she finally rusted away.  Part of my soul died the day it left...  but now it has returned!  We are having a great time!  This may sound weird, and some of you will get it... but, sometimes I just stand there and look at it...  and it brings me joy!  It's not often a long lost  dream just drops back into your life!

Looking forward to reading all about the rides in here.  Wish I had known about this place many, many years ago.

Not in PNW like many of y'all here seem to be...  I'm in central North Carolina.

Anyone else here from anywhere nearby?  Gotta find some local gurus again...  :)

I've got a key like that, I got it aftermarket maybe 8 years ago through a locksmith. It might not be original.
