I can't make the gathering Saturday night but am going to the Blackhawk Coffee and Cars on Sunday if anyone wants to cruise up to that. Need to be at the C&C around 6:45 am to get a decent parking spot.

Aw, I'm bummed you can't make it! I'll consider doing Sunday, though. :)

For those who are coming, I'm looking forward to seeing you Saturday!

Oh hey, awesome, another Bay Area based Celica owner! Well you're not too far out :) I won't be having another meet after this one for the three months that I'm out at school though, so the next earliest one would be October.

My GTS may not be in collectible condition or JDM-customized in any way, but it's running so I'll be there.  Asian bakery snacks? Yes please!

Well, meet #2 was a success! I had a great time seeing everyone and the new faces, too. Thanks to silverliftback, Dr.Jun.Manabe, Granprixfan, ratny8264 (sorry I didn't get any pictures of your car, it was real dark out when you arrived :( ) and the Yang family who came all the way from Sacramento!

good job it was good to meet up and see so many cars
Personally I never see Our cars around...really
You see more Lamborghini models in Our San Francisco Silicon Valley area than our cars
So we can conclude we are all driving rare vehicles, survivors.  :lick:

One very observant young woman called out "they're all the same car" driving by in the parking lot...

Good meetup!  And good to see what's the same and different and really broken and not really broken by having other cars side-by-side.  Some lucky organizer even got a couple test drives to keep motivating his planned manual trans swap.

Wait... when did that happen? I must have missed that comment, hahah! and thanks!! It is cool to see those minute difference vehicle-to-vehicle.

Hey, those test drives were for research purposes only! Now I know that a SACHS clutch is the way to go. And ohhhhh, the taste of power steering...
