Anyone have any suggestions for timing lights?

https://www.amazon.com/INNOVA-3568-Digital-Timing-Light/dp/B000EVYGV4

This one has nice features at a nice price but lots of 1 star reviews saying it stopped working soon after coming out of the box. I really like the rpm feature.

Harbor freight is open by my house now so I could get one of those but I'm afraid its a piece of crap.

Keep it simple. Get one that has just a bulb and an advance adjustment. Mine's a sears brand that's probably as old as I am, picked it up from a yard sale.

Agree, I found an old Mac at a pawn shop, weighs double what any new one does and has had zero problems.

I splurged on the 5568 "pro" version. Have had it for a year and a half now and used it quite a bit on my pickup (took the head off that thing twice trying to get it right), my buddies have borrowed it a couple times. No problems yet.

I FINALLY REALIZED WHAT LAST ONE LAST 3 YEARS MEANS NOW. It means the thread before last one last 3 years lasted 3 years. Wow, I'm slow with this whole thing. Or really, still new to the forums hahaha.

Lol and I never thought how the titles of the whoring threads would look to new members

There used to be a thread called the whoring thread or post whores or something like that where everyone would just shoot the shit, but the old forum software limited the number of posts in a thread, so it would get restarted when the limit hit, and the titles evolved over the years. Now Teranfirbt locks them every once in a while to keep the tradition alive.

Now it makes sense! Lol. Well, it's fine by me. Whoring threads... it feels more like a shitposting thread to me. Or maybe that's just a naming difference in my head.

It seems like the fires in North Bay have calmed down finally. The air quality is pretty good all over the Bay.

shitposting is for sure more common term now, at least on imgur. I would always overlook the whoring thread. Bummed I didn't partake in the old members fighting over stupid nonsense :heh:
