Very cool! I honestly can't justify buying any game consoles, Id rather just put that money towards a better computer. But If i won a console you bet your ass id play it.

Oh I played the wii for the first time a few days ago. I was playing a zelda game where you fly and shit. The fighting was pretty fun once you got through half an hour of bullshit in the beginning. Walking around is not good at all though and can be pretty frustrating. I wish i had more time id like to play all the zelda games I've missed after the ocarina of time. Working 6 days a week sucks massive dicks.

I've never won anything this exciting in a raffle before. Now I can see my waifu in P5 again...

Neither would I, since the Pro is $400 (think of all the car parts you could get!), but this is perfect since I wanted to get back into gaming and not use my laptop, since I fried my last one by playing too many games. And I'd easily spend $1500 on a gaming PC build. I think I'll splurge on a bunch of PS4 games on Cyber Monday for them dealz. I'll play Persona 5 in the meantime, but this is my list of games I'd like to get:
  • DiRT 4
  • GalGun: Double Peace
  • Project Cars 2
  • Senran Kagura Estival Versus
  • Megadimension Neptunia VII
  • GTA V
  • Ni No Kuni 2 (when that comes out)
  • NieR Automata
  • Tales of Berseria
  • Star Wars Battlefront II ??maybe??

Which Wii was it? The OG version or the U? I've spent a lot of time on the OG version since that was my little brothers' shared console back in the day. They'd always want my help on some level they were stuck on. :heh:

I'm not sure which console it is to be honest.

On a different subject, my truck sometimes has been hard starting when warm. Sounds like how it would be if there was too much initial timing. Plenty of juice in the battery and i have it modified so the key actuates a ford starter solenoid and i have a nice 10 guage wire going from the starter to the solenoid on the starter. Its a new autozone starter so that in itself is questionable. I couldn't afford a new denso starter.

Anyway the truck wasn't even hot yet, I went to the gas station like 1/2 a mile away turned off filled up with gas and it hard started and drew so much amps that my radio station presets reset.

Do I have a bad starter? or could something else be happening?

Its so frustrating I feel like I fix one problem and 10 more arise.

I think the exact opposite: I used to be big into PC gaming. Nowadays the console just has added value: price vs performance. Sure, I could upgrade my home PC from 2008... but there's no way I could get mobo/ram/cpu/decent video card for the $300-$400 for an Xbox One. (or PS4, which I don't play... the controllers give me carpal tunnel bad.) A decent video card can be $200+, and a decent CPU here will be well over $200 which leaves nothing for the rest. Granted though, the PC would walk over the console, but I'm just tired of paying for it.

I do like strategy games for PC, they work better on PC than console... but I've just learned to go without.

Find and change all your ground straps. There should be one to the transmission, one to the block, one to the cylinder head (all those to the body) then one small wire from the body to the negative terminal on the battery. After changing them all, beef up the one that goes to the battery. I had to replace mine with a 4 gauge short battery terminal but that's probably waaaay overkill.

Not to mention that if you like console controllers, you can get them (or clones of them) for PC. I use a 360 controller on my PC when playing certain games. One of these days I want to get a good steering wheel and pedals setup.

I bought my parents an original Wii for Xmas a few years ago, and liked it so much I got a dolphinbar so I could run Dolphin (the wii emulator) on my PC. It's amazing how much better the graphics look on a PC, with proper antialiasing, then on a TV. I own a 360 as well, but haven't used it in years.

We got some really nasty wind last night, every time I got close to sleep a tree branch would thunk hard against my trailer and make damn sure I didn't. :coffee:

We had gusts to 50mph here too. My brother had that problem at his place too and he moved to his living room to sleep.

A couple weeks later he had the trees cut down next to his place. Apparently they were all dead...

My power went out, it's out pretty much everywhere. They were forecasting 70mph winds, but I haven't checked to see what they are. The branches falling from the neighbor's tree got pretty big. There are trees down all over the place, too. I'm now at my parent's house, who are also without power, trying to take a nap while my mother babbles on about nothing.
