I got the 235's because I couldn't find 225's but sidewall flex hasn't been an issue for me because I'm not a drifter or a racer.  Just love to cruise around in my Celica!  :)

IMO 235/60/14 looks awesome on the RA65, especially with raised white letters. It'd be interesting to get them in a compound that isn't rock hard. Sidewall flex isn't great for steering feel, but at the end of the day it can be worked around in performance apps (read: lots of camber). It also makes the car more comfortable to cruise around in :)

They look appropriate on the car. I like the look of meaty tires on the 3rd gen more so than thin sidewalls.
