As time goes on I find these more attractive.

It's the car version of seeing an athlete just before they hit their prime... or a good band just before they got signed. You can see the potential, you can see what they're going for... it's just not quite there yet. Then a couple years later... BOOM!
I have a soft spot for these 1st gen Supras... logged lots of good times in an '81 I drove in high school and into college. My car was deeply flawed (because of its previous owner, not the car itself), nonetheless, many fine memories of playing Pink Floyd through that giant silver 3-piece stereo, the long throw on the gear shift, and the fact that you could fold down the back seats and have almost as much room as a station wagon (or so it seemed at the time).

It's a good time to get them, they aren't loved much so the price is low. I still feel bad for this mint, fully optioned MKI in Australia that I think ended up getting crushed because no one went to buy it.
