I was looking at their site after reading about their rally wheel selction on Jalaponik and on the 14" wheel page there's a 1982 Toyota Celica.

Yeah, the celica was a very successful rally car for its time. It even smoked some awd’s just because they couldn’t handle the desert heat. Thus, the celica’s title: “King of the Desert”
The best part about these cars is the thriftiness. You could campaign the RA64 chassis in almost stock form. granted, you won’t be at the pointy end of the stick. But for having fun and just competing, it’s hard to beat. Even the miatas that run in rallycross are more expensive to maintain.

I think you're mistaken. The Celica wasn't that successful, but due to it's robust design it was King of Africa since it dominated the Ivory Coast rally stages each year it ran. I don't think it did well in any other stage, owing to how the AWD setups were gaining success.

Those are some pretty high offset wheels, I bet they had to run some aggressive spacers to get them to fit properly. :heh:
