1982 Toyota Celica gt
« on: May 27, 2018, 03:46:59 pm »
Hi guys! So I just got my first car as a college graduation gift and it's a 1982 Toyota Celica GT. Needs a lot of work but on a good note it does run and is driveable. I know very little about working on vehicles but I'm wanting to restore my Celica and I'm hoping I will be able to get a lot of help from everyone here.

Hello and welcome! You've got yourself the perfect college graduation gift :) Sounds like similar beginnings with my car, it ran and was driveable but needed a lot of love. What kind of work does your car need? You'll find the forum to be a great resource and will definitely get help. Post some pics of your ride!

Yes, welcome!

There's lots of information on these forums. I don't know that a manual for the '82 models are available but there is one for 1985 floating around on these forums.

The electrical would be a bit different from 1982-83 and 1984-85 though.
