Today was the 3rd annual All Toyotas Of the Midwest (ATOM) car show in Dearborn, MI, at the Automotive Hall of Fame. It was a much bigger show than last year, about 140 cars total. I stayed long enough to see the winners this time. Here are some highlights of the show:
Toyota Sports 800, these have a 790cc flat-twin putting out 45ps, good for 100mph. That would be scary in this tiny car.

Stock 1st gen Celica Liftback!

KE70 Corolla

RHD AE86 Levin

1st gen Celica with a 7MGTE, he was at the show last year

1st gen Celica with a 1UZ swap!

John's 1982 Celica GT Sport, he won the People's Choice award!

5th-gen Celica AllTracs

Bosozoku Cressida, also at the show last year

Dodge Dart with a special powerplant...

Toyota Celsior, basically a RHD Lexus LS400 (but even fancier...)

1ZZ Turbo MR-S

1972 Toyota Corona, he won the Best of Show award!

1JZ Soarer with a manual swap

My personal favorite...
4AGZE RHD Starlet

Specs: AE101 4AGZE with pulleys, 15psi boost, stock ECU, 183whp on race gas

And finally, a few shots from the road:

Can't wait to bring my car to this show next year!!
