So recently I had my car in for some brake work, and the shop i was in found more problems with my rear axle.  this is the second axle i've had in this car (first one nearly grenaded after bearings went) and Im really done with trying to source parts for t-code axles at this point, so i just wanna snag an F-code axle and swap over the mounts ASAP.  its a mildly worked over GT, so i have no need for rear disks, especially since i've got EBC pads up front and they stop the car in plenty enough of a hurry, and its a daily anyway.  im looking for any of the solid F-code axles, and preferrably some that have the 4x114 bolt pattern half shafts included, so i don't have to go looking for a set to swap in.  also any info about what cars had 4 lug f-code solid axles would be greatly appreciated, since most the info about it on the net seems to refer to the f-code solid fronts in the 4x4 trucks, and not much else.  i know the vans had a suitable axle, the ra40 celica supra (not even gonna try to find an 81 with disks; they're literal gold at this point and unobtanium in the south).  i think some of the 2wd early trucks had a usable axle as well, but by the late 80s all the trucks were 5-lug or more, even on 2wd.  any info or preferrably if someone knows where one is is greatly appreciated and would be a lifesaver.

Sounds like you're on the right track looking for van axles... but I'm not aware that the 2wd trucks ever came with 4 lug axles.
If you can find a 5 lug pickup axle, then it might not be too hard to either convert it to 4 lug, or convert your front to 5 lug.

you'd probably have to be ready for some welding to transfer your current mounts and get the track width to match original

If you're not averse to welding, do a search for Ford 8.8" axle.  Cheap, easy to find, and strong with drums or discs

Im actually fine with the slightly wider track you get outta the van axles stock; the rears on all the celica models are a little tucked in and a slightly wider axle would definitely help a set of square tires fill in the fenders.  In doing some basic research, it seems the early hilux 2wd trucks are 5 lug, not 4 like i thought, but i could totally go five lug too, i'd just have to switch off stock cross wheels which would sting, but probably give me a lot more tire size options.

im not crazy adverse to welding, but the ford 8.8 might be a bit much for me tbh, since i know you have to shorten one side down to make the halftubes equi-length.  honestly i've just been watching the local (local being all of Texas) craigslists and pick a part yards for anything old toyota related in an effort to find something i could scavenge an axle out from under.
