Contemplating selling 1984 Celica GTS convertible
« on: Apr 08, 2019, 01:00:42 am »
I have a 1984 GTS convertible in my shop that has been sitting for years with an intermittent bad starter solenoid. I don’t see myself fixing and driving it anytime soon. Has been uninsured and unregistered for 5+ years. Is there a market for it?  I’ve had it for 20 years or so, and don’t want to see it deteriorate. I am located in Bend, Oregon.  Thanks for any info.

Depending on condition, I would say there's definitely a market for it! Those pristine "survivor" examples can go for a lot. I'd say replace the starter and get 'er registered, and go from there! :)

New battery and starter fired right up. Hasn’t been registered since 2012. This forum doesn’t like the format of my iPhone pics, otherwise I’d post some
