Greetings from Acworth GA

Greetings from Acworth GA.

I joined the forum due to a few reasons.

1. looking for parts
2. looking for knowledge.

We picked up a 83 Celica GT for my son to restore.  He wanted his own car to work on versus Dad's.

Right now the car needs bits and pieces as well as a motor.  Motor was seized according to past owner.  Motor rotates freely but low compression.

This will be the tenth or eleventh car in the stable at our house.

Both my kids have been around me working on cars all their lives.

Currently in the stable are:
(2) 89 civic si's (one b16, one sohc)
88 crx si
89 civic si (EF3) imported from Japan
90 civic wagon
91 civic wagon
06 corolla
01 Discovery SE7
11 Kia sendona
18 civic lx coupe.
83 celica gt.

Yeah we have a few cars....

Thank god I married a Car chic that understands about my madness.

Hello and welcome!! That is quite a stable you have there, a size of which I one day hope to have between myself and my stepdad! Mostly Hondas.... we recently got an '05 RSX for my stepbrother, a low mile K20A3 auto example. A Celica is a great starting platform to learn, since everything is relatively simple and parts can be easily found for a 22R-E. From our previous interactions, you've already been perusing the forum for info and that is good! :)

Hahah, that's definitely the right kinda person to marry! They are a rare breed these days.
