First shakedown!
« on: Jun 16, 2019, 07:25:25 pm »
Short video due to upload size but took it out for a quick spin needs a little more timing added to it and the carbs need to be rejetted as its running rich but so far pretty solid feeling.

Those webers definitely add a vintage sound.  If I didn't know any better I would have thought you were driving a 70's car.

Thanks!its alot of fun to drive,i realise i could have made more power with a turbokit but the idea of dual carbs really appealed to me and im glad i went that route.

It's all about what makes you smile. My daily beater only has at most 60hp :heh: But I got it setup to make fun noises when I smash the gas around 4K rpms, put a smile on my face everytime even though it's so slow in a straight line

Carb'd 4 bangers have a unique sound especially among a sea of modern cars.
