85 Celica Complete hatch, rust free
« on: Sep 21, 2019, 04:56:24 am »
Testing the waters here on selling my 85 celica hatch; i've recently gotten an 86 supra rear hatch with the double wing that i painted in gloss black thats going on the car, and i have basically no place to store the old one once it comes off.  its off of an 85 celica GT, texas car and completely rust free, somewhat recently repainted in sky metallic blue, complete with latches, badges, glass, exterior trim, rear trunk light, interior trim, rear wiper, ill even throw in a lock cylinder uninstalled with it.  the catch is its definitely a pickup only kinda sale, and itll only be available after september 28th.  i can either arrange a pickup here in austin, Texas, or send it back with my folks back to Memphis tennessee, but either way im looking for 400$ OBO for it.  i'll add pictures in the morning once i've got lighting to do so
Car List:
86 Supra P-Type "Holy Grail" Made it to the Car guys in the sky
89 AW11 MR2 "The Never-Ending Project"   Still Ongoing
85 Celica GT "The Daily"   Daily Driven and always being upgraded
  • New 22RE from Oregon Engine Builders, with ported head and RV1 cam
  • Dobinson lowering springs and KYB AGX adjustable struts on all corners
  • 215/50r14 BFG Radial T/A tires wrapping Supra P-Types on all corners

Bump!  and also those promised images!

The last two images reminded me of the most interesting thing about this hatch; the last two images show some paint defects that showed up shortly after painting the hatch that weren't visible before, and they're not rust; they're actually the old mounting holes for one of those stupid rare ducktail style spoilers!  god if i could find the person who thought it was a good idea to toss that wing!
