Heater core issues

So I'm working on my jz swap and noticed that the heater core hoses are right in the middle of the firewall and the jz sits pretty far back. I would like to have heat so what would you guys recommend on doing before I clog up the system lol

I ended up removing all of HVAC to push the engine as far back as possible. I was just thinking of using an electric hand heater to defrost the window.
