BACC x Bay Area AE86s
« on: Feb 03, 2020, 07:18:27 am »
Hey guys! This meet just came to my attention; would any fellow Bay Area Classic Celica folks like to come attend this meet with me? We have express permission to attend, given that it is a Corolla meet, but it'll still be all classic Toyotas! I know it is a little on the late side, but it'll be fun - 85C Bakery & Cafe is an awesome Taiwanese dessert spot.

Let me know in the replies if you would like to attend! :)
Celica the '84 Two-tone RA64 - Phase 2 In Progress! (159k); 1UZ-FE V8 Swap, W58 5-speed swap, Koni x Swift x T3 suspension, 6G Celica seat belts, TRD 2-way LSD, Corolla tape deck
Mia the '91 Miata - Revived Twice! (264k); BP-5A 1.8L swap, an NB in NA clothes
Lude the '95 Prelude Si - The Tweaker Queen (237k)
Lilith the '94 Legend GS - Blown HG (152k)

I'm surprised I've never seen Celicas at this meet.
I try to show up every month lol

Lol that's because I absorbed all the Celica folks at that meet into my group :heh: we sometimes attend these bigger meets together but I generally do smaller and private meets in Redwood City to keep things peaceful.

See you out there?

Lol. Will do.
Since I only have one other local Starion to hang out with semi-regularly, I attend all the classic Japanese-type meets I can find around here.

What a night! Turned out to be a great night for recruitment, with 5 new members, and a generally great crowd to hang out with. Met STARION's friend Mark, who owns the '84 GT coupe, as well as many others. Here are some highlight cars from the night.

I haven't seen David's MA61 since he painted it, but oh man, an L-type with LP2 Midnight Purple...

Chris from Toy Auto Clinic's 2JZ A40 Liftback

David's ST185 that has seen some Pure Michigan salt and rust... but she runs good!

Mr. STARION himself. :)

The cleanest and most tasteful RA21 I've ever seen. Welcome to the club!

RJ's KP61 4AGE Starlet is something to behold. But he's also got an ST185 AllTrac, and that's what we like to see. ;)

And, IMO, the real head turners: JDM RHD Odyssey

1974 Mazda REPU
