Should I try and make couch mount monitor arm mounts and sell them?

The problem I see with that is that every couch is a little bit different. Plus a lot of monitors these days don't have the VESA mount on them any more, and sometimes even the ones that do have it not in the center of the monitor. So something like that would have to be made either ridiculously adjustable or custom to order.

The compressor isn't that bad, it's got a twin cylinder cast iron pump, rated for 7.7 SCFM@90PSI, pretty much the same thing you'd find on any stationary single stage compressor. It will even run on 220v, though I don't have 220v in my garage atm. It's a heck of a lot better then 99% of the "oil-less" compressors on the market today, and will probably outlive all of them. It's definitely overkill for what I'm doing with it at the moment - filling tires and blowing dust out of stuff :P My brother has one nearly identical with a bigger tank (30 or 35 gallon), which is why he snagged this one when he saw it on facebook. He connects his to an external 80 gallon air tank and uses it for sandblasting and painting. The limiting factor isn't the compressor, it's how long either of us wimps can stand to be in the baking hot paint shed using it!

Freiburger: It's mint!

At least it's going to someone who will take care of it. I hope it's not a sale you'll regret later eventually, like my '81 Coupe DeVille. :(

Well, I'm going to try to get the rear axle off my rusty coupe. While the axle is rusty it's also still usable... but the bolts don't look to be in very good shape.

I was looking at my pneumatic impact and it's only about 300 ft lbs (and I've also had it struggle on other things.) I've been looking around for a replacement, gonna do some more research this morning. The problem is most of the really high torque pneumatics above around 600 ft lbs have high air requirements... and they're pretty expensive. Like I can get a cordless impact with two batteries kind of expensive up here. My little compressor would likely only be able to feed the thing in short bursts.

Decisions, decisions.

Well I decided to get a Milwaukee cordless. It was expensive though at over $600 including taxes.

It'll be nice to have a proper impact though where I don't have to set up a compressor and only use the impact in 20 second bursts.  :heh:

This thing has almost 6x the torque of my pneumatic (rated at 1400 ft-lbs.) If it can't get those rusty bolts off, I don't think it's coming off without a torch. I've read on reviews that it has enough torque it can break bolts off too.

Happy birthday to me, lol...  :heh:

Its not something I wanted to sell but I've been lugging it around for about 10 years. I took it to Oregon after I bought a house. It sat outside under a tarp. Brought it back home to my grandparents house and back in his garage. We moved out of their place and into a condo (rent is dirt cheap) and he wanted me to take it yet again. I have no garage. Its been outside for about 3-4 years not being touch. I didn't even have it for sale for 24 hours before this guy bought it. I had a total of 60-70 people contact me through FB about the car.

Now I need to buy some cheap tires for the '81 Celica at his place that way the tires stop going flat.

Well the impact is great. It got off the nuts from the 4 link (even the one that didn't really have visible threads!) Man were the nuts and bolts hot after I got it off though...  :heh:

Unfortunately though I couldn't use the impact for breaking the bolts free of the bushings. The brake backing plate etc was in the way. The panhard bar I was able to separate but had to cut the links to drop the axle.

Highly recommend that impact, it's super portable you don't have to tug at the damn air hose all the time.

Doing good! Still unemployed unfortunately, but have been working away at the 1UZFE swap and posting videos of it on YouTube. Also been helping out at my mom's office, I'm like her IT person lol, I'm helping with deploying new Windows 10 machines, training staff on the new 3D printer we got, and generally tidying things up since we remodeled as well. The staff is happy with the new machines except for the shitty connection with Comcast Business Internet. We have a 350 Mbps down / 30 Mbps up connection with them, but throughout the day the connection quality drops intermittently and we lose our VOIP phones. I tried everything; replacing the network switch, changing our firewall, and even changing the VOIP server location. That rules out everything except for the ISP. Now I've submitted a ticket with Comcast, and hopefully by Monday I can get everything back up and running.

I know what ya mean! I actually just bought a mk1 Supra. It blew a headgasket and was parked in the woods back in '94. The head was taken off but thats as far as it went. I pulled the 4m out and put a vvti 1jz in it lol
