I attempted to install the GKTech V3 Offset Strut Tops today. I say attempt because I had a bolt pull through one of the brackets, so one side remains unfinished. I figure the bracket was cracked or something, because there was never a pop from it breaking as I tried to torque the bolt to 35 ft/lbs. Now to deal with customer service.

I managed to get the passenger's side installed without issue though and I must say I like these offset strut tops. I can't wait to get this thing rolling again.

That's a shame, yea careful with over tightening those bolts. The plates don't need too much because the weight of the car is usually keeping it from moving around. One of the weird things was in my trade for the Supra top plates with mine was that older T3 camber plates used to be made out of steel, they're for sure more durable.

So I got the suspension setup and was able to drive the car for about a week until I ran into fuel issues. After multiple moves and months of trouble shooting and I am now converting the car to a megasquirt 2 ecu. I have everything wired up and am getting both fuel and spark, but the car just isn't starting. It seems like I have something setup wrong. I was hoping some smarter individuals than I could help me out lol.

Apparently when I changed my tuning laptop the base maps got messed up. I loaded the 4runner base map and now it starts!!! It just won't idle. It's starting really rich. Hopefully I can make some changes tomorrow night and get this thing running again.
