Just wanted to introduce myself!
« on: Apr 24, 2020, 04:20:03 pm »
Hey guys!
New to this forum and new to the celica platform but definitely not new to cars.  I’m looking forward to learning from all the great minds on this forum it sounds like there is TONS of great info on here.

I recently bought an 85 Gts Hatch
T312 W58
Completely stock
Old man owned for 30 years
Sat for the last 3 after he was hit by a car (he is ok)...this didn’t happen in the celica.
Rust around the sunroof and a bit on the hood and around window.
Interior is SHOT except for the seats...he did upholstery by trade so they look pretty good.

This is my drift project.

Right now it doesn’t run.
AFM wasn’t opening, when I propped it open it started to run pretty good.  Found a good size vacuum leak at the intake gasket so I’m in the process of changing it...except for I had to get a new bolt...

I’ll let y’all take a wild guess as to which bolt needed replacement on the intake manifold job haha

Other than that stripped most of the interior.
