Bearings for GTS Rear?

I bought all the bearings and seals for my rear wheels as listed on rockauto but my mechanic said they weren't correct. Something about I needed pressed bearings and I had tapered ones or something... anyone have numbers for the IRS 1984 rear end bearings/seals?

I recommend a new mechanic if he is telling you that tapered bearings are wrong. The IRS uses tapered roller bearings.

I was kind of thinking that myself teran, the solid axle would have a press on bearing and press on collar to retain it while the irs should be tapered bearing. although I've never torn into the rear of a gts thats how most irs are. Maybe someone on the forum could do them probably save some money that way as well.
