Hey guys!

It's been a little while since I've been active here. Very busy, even in these times luckily.

As many of us I really want a set of Chastain Shadow louvers for my AA63 GT Coupe. And since there are none available ever. I want to start making them myself, together with an engineer friend of mine. I remember @83GTCoupe posting about producing louvers by themselves some time ago, but never followed up about it.

For this it would be really handy if one of the Coupe Louvers owners could take some detailed pictures of all the angles and details so I have a better view of how to replicate them. On the internet there are only a handful of louver images unfortunately.

Also, if anyone could measure the louvers up aswel, even better!

Is somebody willing to help me with this? Would be so much appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
Gijs

Welcome back! Hopefully someone will be able to help and chime in on the measurements you need. :)

On the other hand, new ABS louvres are still available for xA6x cars from Willpak. They're special order only though, and I'm not sure how easy or expensive it would be to ship to Europe, but it may well be worth the extra cost instead of you and your friend's time.

Up to you though, there's definitely respect to be gained in making your own rad parts!

EDIT: I just realized that you want coupé louvres, and the Willpak unit is for the liftback. Okay, I'm rooting for someone to post up measurements!

Oh man I was happy for 10 seconds until I saw your edit hahaha.

That's gonna be self fabricating one indeed! Definitely looking forward to seeing pictures and measurements!

Have you ever got to do these? I have  a 85 coupe with louvers if that's what you were looking for. I can take pictures if you are still interested.
