It’s stock and unmolested. Cali car & no rust. Well I think the steering wheel is aftermarket. I bought this car in September of 2018 in Palmdale, California and drove it back to Utah without any issues. Clean title in hand.
Since then this car has been my daily driver for 1.5 years of owning it. Drove it back & forth to downtown SLC without any hiccup. I have it stored away during winter. It’s been good to me.
Last owner said the engine was rebuilt. I can’t confirm or deny that. Take it as a grain of salt.
Pros:
Clean title & title in hand
New tires, new brake pads, new front rotors. oil changed with synthetic.
I fixed driver side windows, still wonky though
New NGK spark plugs/wires/distributor/rotors
Replaced intake air filter.
New brake master cylinder
New thermostat
Replaced all 3 of the belts (alternator, accessory, power steering).
AC works
Everything works; turn signal, brake lights, windshield wipers, etc.
Steamed clean the interior with a rug doctor
Clean interior for its age
Tires is great.
Engine & transmission is sound. No gear issues, shifting issues, throw out bearing issues, that I know of.
Cons,
Minor headlight issues where low beam will shut off. I use high beam at night since it’s looks normal under all circumstances.
Leaks oil from oil pan.
A little vibration in the steering wheel. Will have to check suspension components.
A/C work but will idle the car low. Check idling system
Paint was painted black from its original ivory color of 4E7. It's not perfect.
Interior has cracks here and there
Dashboard is cracked with a cover covering it.
Exhaust leak somewhere.
Speedometer doesn’t work
Body has dings, but no dents,
Front corner lamps has cracks
Other cosmetics issues
Overall it's been great.
