cmtremor's introduction!
« on: May 12, 2021, 11:24:27 am »
hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself.

first I am a 29 year old industrial millwright from ontario canada

currently own:
1984 gts 22re
1983 gts 22re
1982 celica/supra 5mge
1989 180sx ls1/300zx
2017 titan xd diesel ("upgraded")

I am coming from the 240sx world. after "drift tax" and the recent scene change I figured it was best to find a new platform to love. I currently have a ls1 powered 180sx mated to a 300zx transmission. car made 339whp on the dyno last year and is a blast to drive (coilovers, angle kit, 300zx brakes, type x kit, recaro seats etc)

currently have a 1984 gts i bought a few years ago with a blown motor, i pulled the motor and replaced it with a 1983. since then I have not done much with the car and it has sat in my garage. i currently have a 1uz and a sr20det that can be fitted into the car. I also currently have complete stock celica rear end, supra rear end, 240sx rear ends and was thinking of testing differential options and providing write ups on swap options to fit 240sx differentials into this chassis as the options would be endless (q45 diff's would work also). just a thought as i have alot of these parts just sitting around!

looking to gather information and provide where i can! i wish everyone the best and hope to meet/enjoy the community for years to come!

Hello and welcome! You've got quite a fine collection of A60 chassis vehicles, well done!

I think this community would LOVE Nissan diff swaps or other IRS options written up. The GT-S folks have been waiting on something like this for a while, as the supply of 7.5" F-code Toyota pumpkins has diminished over the years. I would even love to see IRS Ford 8.8's done. Looking forward to this and the progress on your cars! :) Don't hesitate to search, read, post and ask about anything you need.
