Heyo,

I failed to notice this forum section so I posted in one of the lounge topics instead, oops. I don't own a car yet but am looking to buy, live in the Indianapolis area. I always liked the look of the third generation celica/supra and now am in a position I feel comfortable to buy a fun car. I'ed probably just keep it in good repair and use it for cruising, most mechanically I might do is a manual swap if I found a really clean auto car. Anyways just spitballing, this seems like a chill forum with lots of good info archived.

Hello and welcome! No worries about posting in the lounge thread lol. Hopefully you can find a good example nearby - with summer just around the corner, people might be listing their long-stored classics or projects for sale! Manual swap isn't too bad should you need to go that route. I'm glad you've noticed how we've kept writeups archived, I try to keep my writeups current with new findings as I go!

There was a local selling a manual 82' GT that looked like it was in great shape in the ad, brown on brown though. Classic for the era though I would really prefer a post facelift model and a GT-S of course. I think they wanted 5k for it and it seemed to sell within a week, kinda bummed I didn't get a chance to even look at the thing but that's car hunting I guess. lol
