Wiring disonect

How hard is it to disconnect the engine wiring loom inside the car? I would rath not cut it at the firewall.

For an 83/84, there are 2 connectors on the ECU and a third to the body loom, then one screw holding on a pair of grounds, IIRC. Then you can pull the grommet out of the firewall and pull the intake-side loom out. There's a few other wires that go to the distributor and coil on the other side, those are harder to remove cleanly.
