New Supra owners

Hello all from Edmonton, Ab

Just picked up an 87 and 83 Supra that the g/f’s kid and I are going to make one out of.
83 doesn’t have a motor and 87 doesn’t have much of a body.
Plans are to use drivetrain from mark 3 into mark 2.
First project for the g/f’s kid and I. So building a car and a relationship hopefully.
I’ll try to make sure I look at old threads before posting my inevitably redundant questions.

You should also sign up over at celicasupra.com, they probably have more info then we have here. The 5M to 7M swap shouldn't be too bad, I'm pretty sure you can reuse the 5M motor mount brackets, oil pan, and transmission, if you have them, and then drop it right in. I think the hardest part will be wiring.

Great. The wiring harness from the mark 3 is significantly different?
I have all the parts for the 87 including wiring harness. Thanks for the info.
