Help with a 1985 Celica GTS Convertible

I sure need some help.....I have electrical problems...When driving....just fine...all is working GREAT...the engine will just die...NOT a fuel, fuel pump problem or fuel filter problem.....electrical......To re-start the car.....when you turn the key the engine light comes on...it will start...if the light is not on the engine will NOT start....To the shop...replaced the ignition switch...same thing still persists. The mechanic says its the Open Circuit Relay...where is it?  He can't seem to find it.....What else would you suggest checking..

The circuit opening relay, I believe, is mounted on the passenger's side inner fender, and I think it sits upside down.

I think your right ozzzie. I have had problem on our supra but it was not intermittent.
I would check grounds make sure they are good.
