Joel, I don't think it's just me but the rest of the world can't see shit from your Photobucket - please consider dumping them into IMGur or something else to share with the forum.

that rear end is seriously giving me '69 firebird vibes! hella cool, how did that CF hatch fit up? I see that Advan still produces the hood and hatch for our cars, and was saving for them.

Thanks! Yeah i saw those lights on a trailer and thought 🤔you know what would be cool....

The hood and hatch are indeed the advan hood/hatch. They fit really well i elected to have mine done with no hood or hatch latch as iam pinning them on. The weight difference is significant to say the least. You can pick the hatch up with one finger. The hood is a little heavier than the hatch but it is still lighter than the factory steel.

As far as weight reduction all the sound deadening was removed and i laid cheap carpet over the floor as it just makes the car feel more complete when driving.the door bars have been removed and the center section where the window regulator would be was removed the chrash beams are quite heavy i didnt weigh them but they are pretty thick steel.the car is caged with a 6 point roll bar with down bars across the door opening so its still safe.everything was removed under the dash and only the factory brace remains. I still have a tilt wheel column as i gutted all the wiring and painless 12 circuit harness was put in,i wanted to retain my factory headlight/turn signal switches. I removed the factory pop forward headlights which are suprisingly heavy guessing 25-30lbs a peice. I installed 67 mustang headlamps into a early 80s(i think) toyota pickup bucket and secured it to the core support. Speaking of core support i also cut that up and have a miata aluminum radiator in there to keep the rebuild i did nice and cool.

Rear of the car has T3 4link kit and panhard bar, stock 6.7" rear end but with a full lce spool and a weirs 4.10 gear set. Rear tires are 275/60 15 hoosiers on vms drag light revolvers. The fronts are little 4" wide 15s and i went with the vms dark 5 star wheels as they were on sale 🤷‍♂️.

Fuel is a 8 gallon cell with -6an line into a holley low pressure  pump.

Not sure of total weight of vehicle to an exact number but without the engine in the car weighed in the upper 1400lbs i can find a picture of the scale in a second

with all the weight shaved off the car, and i assume youre not running Power steering or AC, youre probably looking at maybe 2000lbs~. i think an unladen 22r with w58 id ballpark at around 500-600lbs total? i cant recall engine weight, but i know the 22r block is half the weight of a 2jz damn near
