Ugh some oil change stickers suck
« on: Sep 10, 2022, 04:56:58 pm »
These are amazon.ca links to show what I've bought.

Avoid these at all costs. The adhesive is nasty, I had to use elbow grease with a window scraper and rubbing alcohol to get the residue off. To top it off, they suck with UV exposure. Doesn't matter what you use (ball point pen or permanent marker) after about 4-5 months it's unreadable and even the preprinted ink on the labels almost fade completely away.

I'm trying these now. They're supposed to be static cling. I hope they hold up better than the other ones. They can't possibly be worse, can they??? Although this is Amazon stuff after all.  :heh:

Anyone have any luck with these kind of  stickers?

So this is a pic of the sticker that was put in the car in April/May. I sure as heck can't read that. The "Next Service Due" is supposed to be bright red and it clearly isn't...
