On the Ebay.

And also, how much you think it would cost to have someone do it for you?

Ive got a Rock timing set in my car (unfortunatly its plastic guide, but ill know when they go and i have to put metal ones in) and ive had no problems... my dad is a mechanic and has put Rock timing sets in everything from his own ford 302 to various cars at his place of work and says none have come back...

i hav it
works fine
rock is great and ted the seller is even better
he has a rare biz ethic
i dun use the steel guides,
no point in my opinion
once the chain has that much slack, the metal will beat the jeebers outta it...
just keep track of chain stretch/tensioner imperfection
by measuring the degrees of play at the crank pulley timing mark
set it to tdc,
take off dist cap and turn crank backwards till dist. rotor starts to move
do this several times to see how many degrees of play
new chains usually hav at least 3 degrees of play
wen it reaches 12 or so, chain is near hitting stuff or jumping teeth or worse
time to replace
