Yep, I think. It was carb'd, the interior was black and shot to hell, and it'd been spray bombed. I didn't pay it a lot of attention at the time.
10th digit of the VIN should be E for '84 or F for '85 model year.
EFI didn't come out until '83, so that would be correct. Very interesting. Now I wonder how many '82 GT (w/ Sport Option) there were?
As for the 4 or 5, all of the other '85 verts are a 5, and both of the other '84s are a 4.
How about the rest of you with non-vert '84s or '85s, GT-S, GT, or ST, just for S&G.
